Geographic availability for Zoom Events
Even though Zoom Events may be accessible around the world, whether a user can access Zoom Events depends on where the user is located in terms of what country or region they are in.
Prerequisites for geographic availability for Zoom Events
- Zoom desktop client:
- Windows: 5.8.6 or higher
- macOS: 5.8.6 or higher
- Zoom mobile client
- iOS: 5.8.6 or higher
- Android: 5.8.6 or higher
- Basic user
Note: It is very important that attendees update to the latest version of the Zoom desktop client/mobile application as soon as possible so that they can make use of the latest Zoom Event and Webinar features.
Zoom Events availability by country and region
It is open to users from all over the world—unless it is specifically mentioned on this list of countries or regions that are restricted from taking part in Zoom Events for free.
In order to participate in Zoom Events, you must register and join from one of the following countries or regions in order to be eligible to participate:

Note: There is a restriction on participation in paid events for people living on the United States Minor Outlying Islands.
Note: The registration and participation in any event, free or paid, will be restricted to users in specific countries and regions, so users located in those countries or regions won’t be able to register for and participate in that event.
