Getting started as a Zoom Events Host

It is a versatile platform which allows you to create a wide range of engaging virtual experiences that attendees will find engaging and enjoyable. With Zoom Events, you can manage your own branded event hub, track ticket sales and registrations, control user access from a dashboard, and allow networking during your event.
The Zoom Events Host can easily create and host multi-session conferences, whether they are internal or external conferences. As a result, this platform is useful for companies, organizations, and enterprises-big or small-to reach out and engage with their Attendees.

Cancel a Zoom Events
The host can cancel a live event from the Events page, which will end the session immediately and remove the canceled event from the web portal.
The canceled event will also be announced through a message on the event’s web page, followed by an email notification informing the attendees that the event has been canceled and the canceled event will be refunded to them in full.
In order to cancel an event in a series:
- By logging in, you can access Zoom Events.
- Under Manage, click Events.
- The Upcoming tab will appear.
- To cancel an event, click the ellipsis next to it.
- Then click Cancel Event.
Your cancellation will be confirmed. - To confirm, click Cancel Event in the confirmation window.
Note: - The Zoom Events directory will be removed once this event is canceled.
Cancel an occurrence in an event series
Events that are part of a series of events can be canceled without affecting the other events in the series.
A series of events can be canceled by:
- Zoom Events requires a Zoom account.
- Under Manage, click Events.
- You can cancel an occurrence by clicking an ellipsis next to the event series.
- Simply click Cancel an Occurrence.
You will receive a pop-up window. - Click the occurrence you wish to cancel in the Select an Occurrence drop-down menu.
- Select Cancel Occurrence.
You will be prompted for confirmation.
Note: - You cannot undo this action.
- To confirm the cancellation, click Cancel Occurrence in the confirmation window.
Note: - This occurrence will be deleted from Zoom Events after you cancel it.
