Getting started using the Zoom Dashboard
A Zoom Dashboard is a user-friendly tool that allows administrators to see information that ranges from overall usage data on the account to live data as it occurs during meetings. In addition to analyzing the data, you can use it to better understand how users are holding their meetings within your company in order to analyze any issues that may have arisen.
The data on the dashboard is updated daily at 12:00 GMT. The Dashboard stores data for 12 months after which it is removed from the system.
Note: Discover more about what the dashboard information available to developers is if you are a member of the Video SDK.

How to understand the Dashboard tab
Zoom users can view a variety of statistics on the overall usage of Zoom under the Dashboard tab. A filter can be found at the top left of the dashboard page that allows users to filter data by date.
The Dashboard tab of the Zoom Rooms application provides quick access to a user’s statistics, meeting statistics, and Zoom Room statistics. The graphs have arrows on the top that can be used to adjust which data is being shown, and from the top right corner of the graphs you can click the download arrow icon to export the data.
On the Dashboard tab, you can find a variety of statistics and graphs that can be viewed.
How to understand the Meetings tab
In the Meetings section, you can find a list of all the current meetings taking place, as well as past meetings that have taken place. It is possible to export past meetings to a CSV file for further analysis. There is an overview in this document that will present all the audio, video, screen sharing, and recording that were used in the meeting. It is also possible to see the types of licenses that each one of your users holds on your account.
It is possible to find out more information about the meeting by selecting any of the meeting IDs. There is a wide range of information included in this report, from information on where users connect to information about network quality. As an administrator, you now have the option to join a meeting as a co-host, if the host is currently logged in and in the meeting, by clicking the Join as an assistant button. You can view the way that a participant left a previous meeting by hovering over the information icon located on the meeting information page.
It is possible to get more detailed information about any participant by selecting their name. Providing a summary of the send and receive rates for the various sections of the call, where available.
There will also be a real-time graph that indicates the quality of the connection for sending and receiving videos, audios, and shared content, and you will be able to see it in real-time. The information will not show up if you are not sending or receiving anything at that time. On the dashboard, you will be able to see the following information:
-
Bitrate – With the help of a digital network one can transmit a certain amount of bits per second.
-
Latency -An indication of how long it takes for a packet to travel from point A to point B. A packet’s journey from Zoom’s client to the Zoom cloud in audio, video, or screen sharing.
-
Jitter -There is a variation in the time it takes to receive a packet.
-
Avg. Loss -The percentage of packets that fail to make it to their destination due to packet loss, is the average amount of packet loss.
-
Max Loss -There is a maximum percentage of packets that fail to reach their destination due to packet loss, which is a measure of how much data is lost.
