Getting Started with Zoom Phone Appliances
The Zoom Phone Appliances combine the best elements of Zoom Rooms and Zoom Phone into a compact, easy-to-use desk phone that makes things simple. A Zoom Phone Appliance interface provides users with the ability to join, start and control Zoom Meetings, search contacts, place calls, transfer and conference calls, access multiple lines, listen to voicemails and create meetings from Zoom Phone calls.

Prerequisites
- Appliances that support Zoom Phone
- Are licensed with Zoom Phone
- Options, including calendar and contact integration at the account and user level
Signing in to Zoom Phone appliances
Sign in with Email
Then tap Sign In and enter your e-mail address.
Note:
If your account has SSO enabled, you won’t be able to sign in with your email address.
Sign in with the Pairing Code
- The pairing code will appear as soon as you tap Sign In.
- You can login with your Zoom account by opening your web browser and going to https://zoom.us/pair.
- Select the room or create it using the pairing code.
- Then click Done.
If the account used is verified, Zoom Phone will start the call. - To sign in, click Yes, I am.
Device Management for Zoom Phone Appliances
ZDM (Zoom Device Management) allows Zoom Phone appliances to be managed for application and platform upgrades.

Troubleshooting
A future release will resolve the following issues:
- Transcriptions of voicemails are not currently available.
- Integration of Bluetooth contacts with Zoom Phone appliances is not currently available.
- There are no monitored lines available.
- SMS from Zoom Phone appliances is not supported.
- The Zoom app can be minimized during a live call by tapping Minimize under More options. From the top of the screen, swipe down to re-access the Zoom App.
