Important Headset Safety Information

High Sound Pressure—It is important not to listen to loud music for an extended period of time, as this could cause hearing damage to your ears.

Make sure the headset speaker is lowered before you put on the headset after you plug it in. You will notice a decrease in volume when you plug in your headset again if you lower the volume before you take the headset off.

Make sure you are aware of what is going on around you. If you use a headset in an emergency or in a noisy environment, you may miss out on important external sounds. Driving with a headset is not a good idea. Keep headsets or headphones cables out of areas where people or pets can trip over them. If you have headsets or headphones near children, you should always supervise them.

Audio Quality

A headset’s audio component must sound good to the user and to the party on the other end in addition to its physical, mechanical, and technical performance.
