Hosting large meetings in zoom App
Overview
The large meeting license enables a Zoom meeting to be attended by 500 or 1000 participants, depending on the license. Users who are Licensed can subscribe to this feature every month or annually by contacting the account owner or administrator.
Prerequisites
- License must be assigned to the user, and large meetings must be added to the user’s account
Purchasing large meeting licenses
- Join Zoom by logging in.
- Click Account Management in the navigation panel.
- Scroll to Other products in the Current Plans section. Select Large Meeting from the list.
- Select the number of licenses you need for your account and whether you would like to pay monthly or annually.
- You will then be prompted to save and continue.
- Please review what has been changed. Then click Save and Continue if it is correct.
- You will then be able to complete your order by clicking Place Order.
Assigning large meeting licenses to users
- Zoom’s web portal requires you to sign in.
- Click on Users under User Management in the navigation panel.
- Find the license that you wish to assign to the user by searching for them on the web.
- When the user entry has been completed, click Edit below.
- You will be prompted to choose a license from the drop-down list. In the event that the license size is not automatically selected, you can choose the radio button for that.
- Then click Save.
After you click Save, the license is applied immediately to the user.
Using large meetings
- By scrolling left or right, you can see all participants in active speaker mode.
- Moreover, in gallery view, you will have the ability to see up to 49 participants in video mode per page.
