How do I create a group chat in Skype on mobile or tablet?

1. Click on the button that says New chat.
2. Click on the New Group button.
3. Organize your group by following these steps:

• • If you would like to continue, you will have to enter a name for your group.

  • To upload a picture to your group, click the Picture button, or if you’d like to add a new photo, you can take it yourself. Whenever you have selected the image you would like to use, you will be able to checkmark the image in the upper right hand corner.

  • We recommend that when you want to select a color for the group chat, you use the Edit button. Once you have selected a color for your group chat, tap the right arrow when you wish to confirm your decision.

  • On the top of the screen, there is an arrow that you can tap to add contacts to your phone. After you tap Search, you need to type in the name of the contact that you wish to add, and then tap Add. A better alternative to this is to use the suggested list that you have created in order to select the contacts from the list.

  • You can continue to search for and add contacts to your group up to a maximum of 600 people.

  • When you have finished creating your group, tap Done in order to start chatting with others.

Android 4.0.4 – 5.1

1. Click on the button that says New chat.
2. Choose the option to create a new group.
3. Your group should be set up as follows:
