How Do I Disable the Chat Panel in Webex Meetings?

Is it possible to disable Webex Meetings’ chat panel?

In my meeting, how can I prevent attendees from chatting?

My meeting chat function cannot be disabled. Can I disable it?

Solution:
During scheduling from the website and during active meetings, the chat panel can be disabled.

To disable the chat panel while scheduling from the website:

1. Click Show advanced options on the scheduling page.

2. Choose Scheduling options from the drop-down menu.

3. Select Edit meeting options from the Meeting options menu.

4. Uncheck the Chat box in the pop-up.

5. Click OK.

To disable the chat panel within an active meeting:

1. Drop-down menu on top allows you to select Meeting.

2. Please select an option.

3. Make sure that the Chat box is unchecked in the Meeting Options window.

4. Click OK.
