How Do I Get an Account for Support Case Management (SCM) in Webex?
Solution:
To determine whether or not you have a Webex Common Identity (CI) account, which is required to create a support case using Support Case Management (SCM), please follow these steps:
You have a Common Identity (CI) account if you are able to access the Webex settings page at http://settings.webex.com by entering your email address and your Webex password. After June 29, 2018, if you want to file a case, you will be able to login with your CI account first, and then you will be required to give some extra information at that time. You won’t need to make a separate CCO ID at this time.
In the event that you are unable to log in to http://settings.webex.com using the email address and password that you use for Webex. Be careful to use the same email address that you have associated with your Webex accounts when you sign up for your new CCO ID. After it has been generated, you will be able to log in to SCM using your new CCO ID and submit cases. After the 29th of June, 2018, it is strongly suggested that you register for the CCO ID, since after that date, your assistance entitlements will not be appropriately set up.
