How Do I Handle Dedicated Ports (Until Supported by the CCA-SP Portal)?- Webex
How do I deal with dedicated ports (until the CCA-SP portal supports this functionality)?
How are Telephony Domains (TD) and Call Back Groups (CBG) allotted to locations that have dedicated port access?
Because the CCA-SP Portal finds sites based on their existence on the CCA-SP Ports Subscription (aggregate) for each contract, Dedicated Ports are not currently being populated into the CCA-SP Portal. Request that the Cisco Support team submit a Provisioning Operations ticket on your behalf so that you can assign or reassign a Telephony Domain (TD) and Call Back Group (CBG) for each Dedicated Ports Site.
Alternative solution to enable the CCA-SP Portal to support a Dedicated Port:
Action | Workaround Solution |
Create new Telephony Domain/Callback Group in the CCA-SP Portal for new Dedicated Port customers | This method does not undergo any changes. The process of creating new TD/CBG accounts is identical to that of existing shared port clients. Once the TDs and CBGs have been created, they may be forwarded to the operation team so that a new Webex site can be established. |
Edit Telephony Domain/Callback Groups in the CCA-SP Portal for new Dedicated Port customers | The site of a dedicated port customer will not be displayed in the CCA-SP Portal; however, the dedicated port customer’s TD and CBG can still be modified, and the changes will be applied to the dedicated port customer’s site. |
Move site among different Telephony Domains/Callback Groups | Because a dedicated port site is unable to display in the CCA-SP Portal, utilizing the portal to move the site will not be an option. It is necessary to provide the Provisioning team with a work order in the form of a provisioning ticket. |
View CCA Usage Reports | The CCA-SP Portal will not display a Dedicated Port customer report if one has been submitted. When generating usage reports, use CDR. |
