Some of the features that are available from within the Skype app for iPhones and iPads are not available from within the app itself. There is also an option to access the information from your Skype My Account page if you are unable to find what you want.There might still be something missing from your Skype My Account page after doing the steps below if you still can’t find it there:

  1. Clear the history and cookies on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Go back to your Skype My Account page and sign in again.

Skype to Phone Subscriptions: Manage Your Subscription

 

You can only manage your subscription if you have purchased it directly from your iPhone or iPad after purchasing it.

Using your iPhone or iPad, you can cancel the Skype subscription you purchased from the Apple Store.

  1. The profile picture of your Skype account can be accessed by tapping it.
  2. Tap Skype to Phone.
  3. When you have selected the Skype Subscription you want to cancel, tap Manage subscriptions and then tap the Cancel button.
  4. After clicking on the link, you will be taken to your iOS device’s settings page where you can manage your subscriptions.

[su_note note_color=”#edfefb”] Note: In your iOS device settings, the Skype Subscriptions page will show the subscriptions that were cancelled as expired on the Subscriptions page and can be found in the Subscriptions section.[/su_note] It is also possible to manage your Skype Subscription from your profile page if you did not purchase it from your iPhone or iPad.

  1. It is recommended that you clear the history and cookies on your iPhone or iPad
  2. Sign in to your Skype My Account page by going to your Skype My Account page.
  3. There is a button under your profile picture that allows you to subscribe or manage your subscription.

You can manage the Skype number you are using

 

It is only possible to manage the Skype Number directly from your iPhone or iPad if you purchased the number from that device.Using your iPhone or iPad, you can cancel your Skype Number purchased from the App Store:

  1. Tap on the profile picture of your profile in Skype.
  2. Click on your Skype number.
  3. When you use an iOS device, you should select the Skype Number you wish to cancel, then tap Manage your Skype Number to finish cancelling it.
  4. When you click on Subscriptions in the iOS settings, you will be taken to a page where you can manage your subscriptions.

You will notice that on the Subscriptions page of your iOS device’s settings, Skype numbers that have been cancelled will be listed as expired.Your Skype Number can be reactivated from your iPhone or iPad by following the steps below:

In order to ensure your Skype Number is reserved for you on your account for 90 days, Skype will place it on the account for you. The number will need to be reactivated within 90 days in order to keep the same one.

  1. If you have an iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app.
  2. Tap the name of the person you want to contact.
  3. Go to Subscriptions and tap on it.
  4. Follow the prompts to complete the process of reactivating the Skype Number subscription under Expired, then tap the Subscribe button.
