It is possible to subscribe to Skype in two ways: either by using the Skype app or by using the Skype website.

Purchasing Subscriptions in the Skype App

1. Your device needs to be opened in Skype.
2. Click on the picture that you would like to use for your profile.
3. By selecting the Skype to Phone option, you will be able to make a call.
4. In the Subscriptions section, find the subscription that you are interested in. To see more options, if they are available, choose View all subscriptions from the drop-down menu.
5. If you would like to purchase a subscription, click on the Continue button as follows:
   • The instructions for entering billing or payment information will vary depending on your operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android).
   • Scroll down on iPhone and iPad, then select Pay Now*, then confirm payment through the App Store.

There is also the option of trying it free for a month.

3. To see more subscription options, tap View all subscriptions under Recommended subscriptions.

Purchasing Subscriptions on the Web

1. Sign in to your account.
2. Under your profile picture, choose one of the following options:
   • Under Recommended subscription, select View all subscriptions if you don’t have a Skype subscription.
   • Select Add subscription if you already have one.
   • For iPhones and iPads, you may need to clear your history and cookies and sign in again if these options are not available.
3. If you want to purchase a subscription, select the Continue button. Additionally, you can try the service for a month for free:

5. In case a billing address is requested, please enter it.
6. Here are the payment methods you can choose from:
   • You can use your saved payment method if you’ve paid for Skype products before:
     Alternatively, you can enter a new payment method by selecting Use a new payment method.
   • When you purchase a Skype product for the first time:
     A new payment method will be added to your account. Enter your information and choose a payment method.
7. Complete your payment by following the instructions.

Upon delivery of your Subscription, it will appear as a fulfilled order in your account, and you will be able to view your Subscription in Skype as well. With this new feature, you will be able to call both mobiles and landlines.

The acceptance of the Skype Terms of Use is a condition of your selection of Pay Now.
