Solution:
The presenter at a gathering or event has the ability to decide who is allowed to communicate with other attendees. The participants who have access to these capabilities are the ones who can send messages in the conversation.
Note: Please get in touch with the host if the meeting or event you are attending does not include a chat feature.
To send a chat message:
1 Launch the Chat window by clicking on the link located in the bottom right corner of the meeting window:
2 Choose the recipient of the message from the drop-down list that is labeled To.
3 After you have typed your message into the chat box, press the Enter key on your keyboard to send it.
Hosts
To enable the Chat icon:
1 Choose Options from the drop-down menu that appears after clicking on the Meeting or Event drop-down menu.
2 Click the OK button once you have checked the box next to Chat on the General tab.
Note: You will be able to view the chat messages of other participants who joined the event or meeting after you if you join it while it is already in session.
