How do you select the data center regions to host webinars and zoom meetings?
Zoom as one of the video conferencing apps permits users so that they can make choices in data centers.it helps in the process of data transition. The feature of choosing the data centers regions for hosting meetings and webinars is available to the account admins and owners. In that case, the default region of your provisioned account will be locked.

Based on the account that has been provided, the listed regions that are available also vary.
If the account admin or owner desires then they can anytime opt for the china data center. However, the last date of routing was on the 25th of April 2020. Beyond that, it is said in the zoom support site that it will not link with main lank china for the transition of data. And those users who connect with data providers outside mainland China experience problems.
What happens when you or for other regions?
When you opt for some other region what usually is that the endpoints of your Zoom CRC also known as Common Room Connector and the dial-in number regional get disabled for webinars and meetings. Though participants still have the option for phone dialing in, in that case, they have to use CRC-enabled endpoints for the webinars or meetings and the number. Also, do remember that the CRC endpoints along with the dial-in numbers must be listed in the invitation of the meeting by the host.

Remember that the free, as well as the pro account, has been already locked by the provisioned default region. The chosen data center regions will impact the present list of calls in or daily in countries. It will also affect the CRC endpoints.
Account/Group/User-level data center regions selection.

Step 1. You have to sign in to the Zoom web portal in the role of account admin. It will provide you with additional editing privileges.
Step 2. Go to the navigation menu and then tap on account management followed by account profile.
Step 3. Go to the transit data option. Then tap on customize data center regions for meeting/webinar data in transit. There click and toggle for disabling or enabling.
Step 4. After enabling it from the disable option a verification pop-up dialog can appear. They tap on turn-on. It will verify the change.
Step 5. Then it’s your turn to check the regions from where you would want the webinar or meeting data transit to route from.
Step 6. Once done tap on save so to confirm the alterations.
Step 7. You can also make the option compulsory for the users of the account by selecting the lock icon. To confirm the setting again click on the lock.

Step 3. Then tap on the respective listed group name. After that tap on the settings tab.
Step 4. Tap on the profile section.

Step 6. After enabling it from the disable option a verification pop-up dialog can appear. They tap on turn-on. It will verify the change.
However, the toggle can become grayed out. In that case, contact the account-level users to change it.
Step 7. Then it’s your turn to check the regions from where you would want the webinar or meeting data transit to route from.
Step 8. Select save to end the confirmation.
