The ability to collaborate with people outside your organization is one of the benefits of joining a company as a guest. In Teams, you have the option of accepting or declining an invitation to an organization.

Accept an org invite on your profile card

  1. Make sure that the profile picture you selected is the one you want.
  2. Once you have selected Accept invitation, you must accept it.

3.  Select the Accept or Cancel button after reviewing the org permissions.

4. You will no longer be able to see Accept invitation beside the org after accepting the invite for the organization.

Accept or decline an org invite in your account settings

  1. Click on the picture you wish to use as your own  profile picture.
  2. Then Manage account tab select.
  3. The next time that you receive an org invitation, select More options > Accept or Decline.

  • If you receive an invitation to join an organization by email, you can accept it as well.
  • The changes you make to the profile card may not appear immediately on the profile page.

IIt is possible for you to receive an invitation for joining a Team if you are invited as a Guest user. It is as simple as clicking on the invitation, selecting the Open Microsoft Teams option, and then clicking on the submit button. In order for you to be able to access the website, you will be redirected to the following web page, on which you will be asked to create a Microsoft account with your existing email address.
Here are some options you might want to consider:

The same email address should be used on the Sign Up page as the one used in the invitation email to create an account, along with the Password you will need to create. Create a new account by clicking on the Create account button. The Terms and Conditions section of the page will give you the option to accept those terms and conditions, by clicking Accept. You will be taken to the page where you will be asked to accept the permissions.

 

In addition to having a Teams account, you have the option of joining a meeting anytime, anywhere, from any device.
In response to a message sent by email, request a meeting with the sender
  1. Upon selecting the message from the message list, click on the Home tab, and then in the Group Respond menu, select Meeting in the Meetings section.
  2. The Meeting icon on the Message Tab can be found in the Respond group when you open a message, when you click on the icon in an open message.
