It is a good estimate that 300 or more people will attend a large team meeting. These are options and best practices for a more successful large meeting if you schedule a large online meeting or expect more than 300 participants.
Note: Using chat, audio, and video, up to 1,000 invitees can participate in a Teams meeting. Guests can also join meetings with up to 10,000 participants as view-only attendees.
The first step is to schedule either a Teams meeting, a Teams webinar, or a Teams live event, depending upon the type of presentation you wish to create. Any type of presentation should be done using the Teams desktop application.
Adding structure to bigger meetings allows teams to collaborate and interact. Teams webinars are structured interactive events. An event on Teams is a broadcast with a production team in the background and an audience watching.
