If you want to enable cross-device interaction between your Microsoft Teams display and Team desk phone, you will have to connect them both to your Windows computer. It will be convenient for you to lock and unlock your screen or desk phone in the same way as you lock and unlock your computer.
If the Teams display has been connected to the computer, it is possible to attend meetings and take part in them at the same time, and you can also use the computer keyboard to respond to chat messages you see on the display. When the Teams display is connected, you will be able to join and participate in meetings with both the computer and Teams display simultaneously. We are also working on adding more features to the site in the near future.
Note: There are currently no Teams clients available for Mac, Linux, web, mobile, or 32-bit/ARM architectures.
Before you begin
- A 64-bit version of the Teams desktop client must be installed on the computer, and the client version must be 1.3.00.15364 or greater.
- Bluetooth must be enabled on the computer.
- There must be a display screen located near the computer or a desk phone placed close to the computer.
Connect the devices
- You need to be logged into both your computer and the display or desk phone in order to use this service.
- You will need to select the picture you wish to connect to the device first by using the display or desk phone, then you will need to connect it to the device as shown below.
- You will be prompted to choose Find a device.
- Once the computer has been located by the display or desk phone, select Connect when it appears.
- Select Connect from the computer’s menu.
