How to Enable Auto Sign-in in zoom App
From the Zoom Room web interface, users can assign a specific Zoom Room to phones and tablets that are registered with Zoom’s Mobile Device Management service (ZDM), or with a third party MDM service. If you are assigned a Zoom Room, the app will be automatically downloaded and you will be signed into it.

Prerequisites for enabling auto sign-in with ZDM
Zoom Rooms on Mac can be auto-signed in by following these steps:
- An MDM service must be installed on the device
Windows Zoom Rooms auto-sign-in:
- An MDM service must be installed on the device
- And Windows 10 version 1703 or later must be installed
For iOS Zoom Room controllers, you can turn on “Auto-Sign in” by following these steps:
- In order for the device to be in Supervised Mode, it has to be set to that mode automatically by the ABM and ASM).
- In order for the device to be in MDM it has to be enrolled
How to enable auto sign-in with ZDM
- Zoom Rooms can be found by clicking Room Management in the Zoom web portal.
- To assign a device to a Zoom Room, click Edit next to it.
- Scroll down to the Assign Device section.
- Choosing a device type and clicking Save will allow you to select the device from the drop-down menu.
- Then enter the serial number manually when you cannot locate your device in the drop down menu. If you cannot locate your device in the drop down menu, click Assign unlisted device.
Troubleshooting
- The Zoom web portal will display a “Cannot be assigned” message if your Windows device does not run Windows 10 Version 1703 or later. The device cannot be set up to automatically sign in.
