How to leave an account to start your own in zoom app

The Basic (Free) plan has the option of converting from a Pro, Business, Education, Enterprise, or API Partner plan to a Basic (Free) plan with the option to purchase your own license as a member of a Pro, Business, Education, Enterprise, or API Partner plan.

Note: In some cases you may not be able to leave your account if you have an Associated Domain configured according to how you have your account configured. In the event that you are unable to unlink, you will need to set up a new account with a different email address to be able to unlink.

Prerequisites

  • Paid Pro or Business member, Education or Enterprise member, or API Partner member

How to unassociate and create your own account

  • Visit Zoom’s website and sign in.

  • Click Account Profile from the navigation menu.

  • Create a new account by clicking Unassociate.

  • Please click Yes if you want to remove your affiliation and start a new account.

  • Once you have successfully unassociated your account, you will be redirected back to your Account Profile.

  • On a Free account, you will now be shown as the Owner in your account profile. You can now subscribe to a paid plan.
