Make someone a team owner in Desktop


The following steps can be taken in order to make a person the owner of an existing team or view that is responsible for running an existing team:

Select the More options Manage team option to the right of the team name.

To see the names of all team members, select the dropdown menu next to Guests and Members. It is indicated by a column in the right-hand column whether a person is a member of a team or the owner of a team in the right-hand column. Select the dropdown menu and then select the Owner option from the list to make someone an owner.

When you create a team, you will also be able to choose to nominate someone as the team’s owner in addition to creating the team itself. It is possible to choose whether you would like each member of your team to be a member of the team or become the owner of the team whenever you are adding a new member to your team by selecting Owner under the Membership menu when you are adding a new member.

You are asked if you want to make the member of the team the owner if you tap on their name in the team name field.
