The majority of settings in the team can be controlled by the team owner and he or she will be able to set up permissions that relate to your team if he or she so desires. How you can adjust them can be found in the following section.
In order to manage your team, click the More options option next to the team’s name.
If you want to use a particular option or permission, you need to check or uncheck it in the settings tab.

Change team name, description, and privacy settings
Choose More options > Edit team from the drop-down menu under the team name. Once you have completed this process, you will be able to change the name, description, and privacy settings of your team as soon as you are done.
The main settings of the app can be modified at any time by clicking on the profile picture at the top of the app, and then selecting settings > general from the menu that appears. You can disable auto-start in the Application section by clicking on the Disabled button. As an added benefit, you can set your settings so that the app does not operate in the background or continues to run even after your window is closed.
How do I get to Microsoft team settings?
Step 1: Upon opening Microsoft Teams, click on the icon for your profile and select Edit Profile.
Step 2: On the left panel, you will see a drop-down that says “Settings”.
Step 3: You can change your website’s look and feel by selecting the appropriate settings underneath the General settings.
Step 4: Make sure you can change the settings for the “Application” so that it opens and closes in the manner that you want under General.
How do I change the privacy settings on my Teams Channel?
