How To Salesforce Bot In Webex App
Using Salesforce, users can create new opportunities, contact information, and tasks, as well as keep track of them more efficiently. By using the new Salesforce bot within Webex App, you can now perform these tasks directly within this application.
The following are examples of bots developed by Cisco and used in the real world.
Bots in Webex App
There are several third party apps that can be easily integrated with Webex App through the use of bots. In Webex App spaces, you can add third-party apps like bots, and from the space you can interact directly with the apps. It is also possible to send a help message to the bot once you have added it to the space, and the response will include the commands that the bot supports when you send it a help message.
If you want to add a bot to a space that has more than one person, you might add a bot to your collaborative project space where people can interact directly with the third-party app from your space. To interact with the third-party application, you can either create a space where you and the bot can interact together.
Throughout the Webex App Hub, Cisco and third-parties have developed a great deal of bots and apps for users to use.
Cards in Webex App
In the Webex App, bots provide information in a variety of ways according to their roles. Users are able to directly interact with a bot’s response to a command when they use cards because they can interact directly with its response. In the menu tabs, you will find drop down menus, buttons, and even text fields where you can input information, edit it, and save it.
In order to learn more about the cards framework, please visit the developer’s blog at https://developer.webex.com/blog/new-buttons-cards/.
Please contact webex-devsupport@webex.com if you are experiencing any issues with the bot that uses cards.
