Accessing the New Microsoft Teams Filters

After selecting the More ([…]) menu and selecting Device settings, you will be able to adjust the video filter settings under Video settings while you are in a meeting. Participants in Teams video meetings can now choose from two new filters to enhance their appearance. Soft-focus (aka Botox) filter reduces the appearance of wrinkles and lines on participants’ faces. Brightness filter projects a soft light onto their faces.

Basic Search Menu Bar

In the drop-down menu below the Keyword field, you can select a specific Team or Channel to view all the conversations and files associated with the keyword (if any) in that specific area. For a search of all results, you can simply click on the Enter key on your keyboard.

Search from your Inbox

You can find the name of the person you’re trying to find by going to the Home tab, selecting the Find group, and then clicking in the Find a Contact field.

During video meetings, Microsoft Teams users can enhance their appearance by using new video filters. Adapting brightness and softening focus are the first two filters to be rolled out on the Teams desktop app.
