How to Upgrade DTEN Firmware using ZDM in zoom App

You can upgrade DTEN devices remotely through the Zoom web portal if you’re using them for Zoom Rooms.

Prerequisites for upgrading DTEN firmware using ZDM

  • Version 4.4.1 or later of Zoom Rooms for Mac
  • Mac, or Zoom Rooms for PC, 4.4.1 or later
  • Later, with firmware version 1.3.2 for the D7 unit.
  • Zoom Device Management has been enabled for the DTEN device.

Instructions

  1. Zoom’s web portal can be accessed by clicking Room Management.
  2. Next, click Zoom Rooms and then click Devices to access Zoom’s web portal.
  3. You will be able to upgrade your device by clicking the ellipsis to the right of it.
  4. Then click Upgrade OS.
  5. You will have to click Upgrade again once the window appears.
  6. Select one of the options below:
    • At night (around 1:00AM):
    • According to the device time, the upgrade will begin at 1:00am.
    • Non-meeting time:
    • The upgrade will begin within 30 minutes if there is no meeting.
  7. Upgrading generally takes a few minutes. After the upgrade is complete, the DTEN D7 will be restarted.
