How to Use the Sentry chatbot in Zoom
It is possible to subscribe to Zoom IM chat channels so that you receive notifications of events related to Sentry through Zoom’s Sentry chat integration.
Prerequisites

A Pro account, a Business account, an Educational account, or an Enterprise account

The Zoom account administrator must pre-approve any changes made to your account

Installation and configuration
Installing from Zoom Marketplace

You can access the Zoom Marketplace by logging into your Zoom account and clicking on the Zoom Marketplace button.

Click on Sentry in the search results and you will find the app.

Click Add, confirm that the app requires the permissions it needs, then click Authorize when you are ready.
Note: If your account admin has installed the Sentry chat app, the app will automatically be installed for you within the Zoom client.
The app can be found in your Zoom client’s left-hand pane under the APPS section. When the app has been installed, you will see it listed under the APPS section.
Using the Sentry Chatbot
Available commands
If you wish to receive notifications of Sentry events in a channel where you want to receive them, you can use the following chat commands:
Help
It is necessary to type /sentry help in your browser in order to receive a list of all the commands available to you through Sentry’s chatbot, so as to see all the commands available to you.
Connect
Sendry connects your organization name to your project name /sentry connects your organization name to your project name in order to subscribe to your current channel in Sendry.
The Sentry account will send you a direct message informing you that you need to authenticate the account if you have not yet done so.
In order to authenticate with Sentry, use the link in the message: If you are not currently logged in to Sentry, you will be prompted to do so. After that, you will need to approve the app’s access permissions as follows:
Please return to your Zoom chat channel, for example, /sentry connect “your Organization Name in Sentry> “your Project Name in Sentry> to subscribe the current channel to Sentry notifications. The following events will be displayed on the channel once it has been subscribed to notifications from Sentry:
Disconnect
You can remove a subscription related to a specific organization and project by using /sentry disconnect [your OrganizationName in sentry] [yourProjectName in sentry] to remove it from your current channel. If you want to remove all subscriptions associated with this channel, you can type /sentry disconnect, without any parameters.
Configure
The current channel’s subscriptions may be viewed by typing the command /sentry configure.
Configure all
If you want to see the subscriptions for all of your channels within your account, enter /sentry configure all.
Removing the Sentry Chatbot

You can access the Zoom Marketplace by logging into your Zoom account and clicking on the Zoom Marketplace button.

Click on the Sentry app in your app list or go to your Manage tab and then select Added Apps after searching for the app and clicking on it.

Next to Sentry, you will see an option to remove it.

After confirming the uninstall, click the Remove button to complete the process.
