How to Use Zoom’s Google Calendar Notifications Chatbot
With Zoom’s Google Calendar Notifications Chatbot, you can receive real-time chat notifications about your Google Calendar updates and changes through a chatbot that will interact with your Zoom chat account.
Prerequisites for Google Calendar Notifications

An account with Google is required

The Google Calendar Notification application for Zoom App Marketplace has been pre-approved and we are pleased to announce it has been approved
Note: If your Zoom admin is unable to approve the app, please contact them and ask them to approve it.
How to install and configure Google Calendar Notifications
Install from the Zoom App Marketplace

You will need to sign in with your Zoom account in order to access Zoom App Marketplace.

Search for Google Calendar Notifications in the search field at the top right of your screen to find the app if you don’t see it immediately.

When you search for Google Calendar Notifications, you will find it in your search results. Click on it to learn more about it.
Note: You may need to contact your Zoom administrator to approve the app for your account if the app is not pre-approved. -
Please click on Add to add the item to your cart.

Please confirm that the app has the permissions it needs, and then click Allow.
As soon as the redirect has been sent to your Google Account, you will be redirected to your Google Account in order to authenticate your account and approve Zoom to access your photos. Upon completing the configuration process, you will be redirected back to the configuration page.
Configure Google Calendar Notifications
The Google Calendar subscription page will be redirected to you once you have installed the app from the Zoom App Marketplace.

You will then be given the option to authenticate using your Google Calendar account.

To receive notifications from your Google account, choose the account you wish to use.

Click the Allow button once you have confirmed the permissions.

As part of the Basic Configuration, you will need to complete the following:

It is important to give a name to the subscription.

Choosing a Channel is the first step in adding a chatbot to your account.

Describe the item in the description field.
Note: You can choose to have the chatbot send you notifications directly to your contact address if you wish to do that.

Configure your Google Calendar by following these steps:

Select a Calendar Source: You will be able to receive notifications from the calendar that you choose to subscribe to. Most of the time, this is the calendar that you keep for yourself.

Reminders: Reminders can be sent at any time of the day.

Calendar Updates: You can set up the Zoom Chatbot to send you notifications based on the type of updates you make.

Summary of events: You can select between receiving a daily or weekly summary of your events depending on your preference.

Upon completing the configuration, select the Save Configuration option.
The Zoom chat messages will now be delivered based on the settings you’ve selected.
How to interact with the Google Calendar Notifications Chatbot
As soon as the Google Calendar Notifications subscription is triggered, you will begin to receive chat notifications for all chat conversations. Depending on the Zoom Channel that has been selected for the subscription, these will be mapped to the Zoom Channel.
In addition, you have the option of engaging in a 1:1 chat with the chatbot. Sending the word help will provide you with a list of commands you can choose from once you’ve typed the word help.
How to remove the Google Calendar Notifications Chatbot

You will need to sign in with your Zoom account in order to access Zoom App Marketplace.

There is a Manage button at the top of the page, which can be found by clicking on it.

You can access the Added Apps menu by clicking on the navigation menu.

On the left side of the screen, click the Remove button next to Google Calendar Notifications.

Please confirm the dialog box by clicking on the Remove button.
