How to View or add contacts in Microsoft Teams

In order to view the contacts for your teams, select the Calls tab on the left-hand side of the screen and then the Contacts tab on the right-hand side of the screen. The following tab will allow you to see an A-Z listing of all the contacts you have on your device and you will be able to search for any contact using the search bar located on top.
It is possible to add new contacts to your list by clicking on the Add contact button above the list in order to get started.
On the right side of Teams, you have the opportunity to access your Speed dial contacts and any call groups you have created as well. At any time, you can access the calls you’ve made by selecting the Calls tab.
From here, you can do the following things:
- As for speed dial, it gives you the ability to rapidly refer to recent contacts or new contacts that you have added to your speed dial and call them back.
- Your team members can be grouped into call groups by the role or team that they belong to, making it easier to find and reach them.
- Select More actions next to the group name, then select the Add a contact to this group option and you will be prompted to add a contact to the speed dial or any call group you choose.
- If you want to call back any contact quickly, you can do so by clicking on the Call button below their name.
On the left side of Teams, you will find a Chat icon. Click on it to create a new contact group. You will then be able to choose Contacts from the drop-down menu at the top.
You will find an option for creating a new contact group on the bottom of the page, which will allow you to do so. It is necessary to follow the instructions on the screen in order to create a new group.
