I just purchased Skype Credit but I cannot make any calls…

After making a purchase, you usually see Skype Credit appear in your balance within seconds or minutes; however, sometimes it takes longer. Here’s what you can do:

1. Your order should have been delivered by now. You can view your purchase history by logging into your account. The next thing you need to do is check the order number and the status of the order (e.g. Pending, Delivered).

   Note: It’s possible that you will need to clear your history and cookies on your device to view your purchase history, if it is not available on your iPhone or iPad, and then sign in again after it has been cleared.

2. Make sure that you have a positive balance for your Skype Credits. The balance of your Skype account may need to be refreshed if you sign out of Skype. Click on your profile picture and then select ‘Sign Out’. You will then be able to sign back in.

   Note: The fact that you close and restart your Skype application will not result in you being signed out of Skype. There is no need to restart Skype in order for your balance to be refreshed.

3. It would be helpful if you could try making a Skype call. The balance may not update after a purchase in some cases, but you can force it to update by making a phone call in such cases. As soon as the call has connected, your balance will be updated if your order has been delivered.
