Inviting others by phone (call out) in zoom app
As part of the meeting or webinar, you have the option to call others to join in by phone (also known as “calling out”) while in the meeting or webinar as well.
Prerequisites for inviting others to a meeting by phone
-
The host account must be a Pro or higher account
-
Added the Audio Plan to my subscription list
-
At the account or group level, the setting can be enabled or disabled
-
You may be able to make calls by phone or invite others by using your webinar or meeting role’s call-out permissions
Note: You should make sure if your phone service is blocking the numbers associated with the call-out feature on your account. There will always be a dedicated number Zoom will use for US numbers, which is +1 646-568-7788. The Zoom web portal will use the list of international calling numbers in ascending order on the web portal when dialing international numbers. If the first number on a list is not available, the second number on that list will be used in its place. In the event no US dedicated numbers are available for the country, Zoom will be using the dedicated number for the rest of the world, +1-646-568-7788.
