Inviting others to join a Zoom Rooms meeting
You can invite a Zoom Room, a H.323/SIP room, a company contact, or an external participant to join a Zoom Rooms meeting.
Prerequisites for inviting others to join a Zoom Rooms meeting
Internal invites
- The contact for the company has been added to the User Management page or the domain is the same.
- Zoom Rooms have been configured.
- Configure the H.323/SIP room system in the Room Connector tab and subscribe to the CRC (Cloud Room Connector) add-on.
External invites
- Send an email invitation if you have a valid email address.
- Be subscribed to the CRC (Cloud Room Connector) and know the room’s IP address or E.164.
- To invite via phone, your account must be subscribed to the callout feature.
How to invite by contacts
- On the controller, tap Manage Participants, then tap Invite in a meeting.
- On the Contacts tab, tap Invite in a meeting.
- Inviting Zoom Rooms, SIP/H.323 rooms, or company contacts is as simple as selecting them.
- Simply tap Invite.
How to invite by email
- You can tap Manage Participants then Invite on the controller while in a meeting.
- Select the Email tab.
- On the To: line, enter the email address of the invitee(s). Add a space between each participant’s email address if you’re inviting multiple people.
- Then tap Send Invitation.
How to invite by phone
- While in a meeting, tap Manage Participants then tap Invite on the controller.
- Tap the Phone tab.
- Tap the number icon at the top left to select a country code if you are dialing an international number.
- Dial a number then tap the phone icon .

How to invite by room system
- While in a meeting, tap Manage Participants then tap Invite on the controller.
- Tap the SIP/H.323 tab.
- Enter the IP address or E.164 number, select H.323 or SIP, then tap Call.
