Jabber | Emoticons in webex
Cisco Jabber messages can be enhanced with emoticons and animated emoticons to add some flair to your messages.
In Jabber, you can use a range of keyboard shortcuts as well as a palette of emoticons to insert emoticons. The emoticons available in Jabber can be customized by your system administrator.
There are two ways in which you can add a Jabber emoticon. You can type its shortcut or choose from the palette of emoticons. There are normal emoticons as well as animated emoticons available in the palette.
Due to space constraints, all the available emoticons are not displayed on the palette in order to save space. The other emoticons can be seen by using these shortcuts.

If the emoticons from the OS are aligned with the global standard, you can also use them with Jabber desktop applications if you wish. Through the Touch Bar on Macs or through the Touch Keyboard on Windows, you will have access to these emoticons.
