When you reply to a message that has been quoted, the quoted message displays the person’s name and indents their original statement.
Jabber Team Messaging — The following article discusses aspects that are unique to Jabber Team Messaging and cannot be found elsewhere.
1. Simply move the cursor over the portion of the message that you wish to quote, and then click the button labeled Quote Message that appears to the right of the message.
If you quote files, GIFs, or photos in your message, they won’t be displayed, but you will see the file type that was shared in the original message. This applies only if you quote the content.
You are only permitted to insert a single quote at a time in your draft message, and you are unable to quote block quotes. If you begin a message with quoted material but do not immediately send it, the quoted information that you started with is not saved as part of the draft message that you create.
If you are quoting a message that already has formatted text, the formatting of that text will not be displayed in the composing space; however, it will be visible when the message is sent.
