Jabber Read a Message in webex

If you want to stay in touch with people, they can send you direct messages in Cisco Jabber or they can add you to the group conversation that they are in. Collaboration, sharing content, and getting things done are all done through sending messages to each other.

The chat tab on your computer shows which space names appear in bold, which means that you have a new message waiting for you in that space. You can read your messages by selecting one of these spaces in the message list.

If you turn on the notification feature on your smartphone as well as in the app, you will be notified each time there is a new message without having to do anything else.

The space name in the Chats tab will once again appear normal text after reading the message, letting you know that you are now up-to-date in the space you are in.
