Jabber | Remove Someone from a Space – Webex

It’s possible that you’ll find yourself in a situation in which you need to restrict access to a place in Cisco Jabber after a user has already joined. You have the ability to kick people out of the space if it is unmoderated or if you are the person in charge of moderation. According to the data retention policy of your firm, even after you remove someone from a place, the content they contributed will continue to be viewable.

Windows

To access the open roster, select More from the space’s menu. Select “Remove from Space” from the context menu that appears when you right-click on the person you wish to delete.

Mac

Go to > Show/Hide participant list in the space’s navigation menu. Control-click the person you want to remove from space, and then select the Remove from Space option from the context menu.

iPhone and iPad 

To remove a member from the space, tap on the space’s name, select the member, and then choose the option to Remove from Space.

Android

Tap the button located in the space, choose the user from whom you wish to remove the space, and then click the option Remove from space.
