Join a Webex training session
Either the email invitation that was sent to you or the Webex site that you already have can be used to join a Webex training session.
Join a Training Session
Participating in a training session can be done in a number of different ways. It is possible to perform troubleshooting on the problems that you are encountering in the event that you are unable to join a training session. Check out the Cisco Webex Troubleshooting page for any more details.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled training session, you can get in touch with the session host and inquire about the possibility of receiving a recording of the event. Please go to the How Do I Contact the Host of My Meeting page for further information.
Join from an Email Invitation
- Find the link to join in the email invitation that was sent to you.
- If requested to do so, enter your name, email address, and password, and then select the Join button. You may also select the Join by browser link in order to join the session utilising the Webex application.
Join from Your Webex Site
After logging into your Webex account, navigate to the Webex Training > Unlisted Sessions menu option.
Enter the 9-digit session number that was issued to you in the email invitation, enter the password that was provided to you, and then choose the Join Now button.
Connect to Webex Audio
When audio conferencing is activated, users of Webex Training have the option to connect their audio in a variety of different ways. Check out the Hints and Tips section for further information on how to use audio with Webex.
You will need to choose one of the following options once you have joined the training session:
Call Me–After entering a phone number, pick the Call Me option. You are going to get a call, and when it comes on, you might be asked to press 1 to connect.
I Will Call In–To select this alternative, choose it from the drop-down menu labelled Use Phone. Simply call the number that is displayed on your screen. At the request, use the keypad on your phone to input the access code as well as the Attendee ID that is displayed on your screen.
Your name will be linked to your audio if you bring your attendee ID to the meeting. If you do not enter your attendee ID, your audio connection will be displayed in the Participants list as a call-in user, which will be distinct from your name. Additionally, you will not be able to control the audio from within the application if this occurs.
If you do not have your attendee ID with you, press the number key to be directed to the lobby where you will have to wait until someone from the meeting lets you in.
Dial Through Your Computer –If you want to connect to the audio using VoIP, select this option. You can alter the settings for your speakers and microphone by going to the menu bar and selecting Audio > Speaker/Microphone Audio Test.
Simply clicking the microphone icon at any time will allow you to mute or unmute your own voice.
