Joining a meeting in a Zoom Room from the Zoom client
It is possible to join a meeting scheduled in a Zoom Room online via the Zoom desktop client while keeping the audio and video of the client disabled for the meeting. With Zoom Rooms, you are able to create a video and audio conference, screen share your presentations, chat with participants, and manage participants all from the desktop application.
Prerequisites for joining a Zoom Room meeting using the desktop client

There is a global minimum version or higher required for the Zoom desktop client for Windows and macOS.

Mobile app for Zoom on Android or iOS: Must be at least version 5.0 global minimum
How to join a meeting using the desktop client in a Zoom Room

Open the Zoom desktop client and sign into it.

The tab Meetings can be found by clicking on it.

Select the meeting that you would like to attend from the list.

If you are in a room, click Join from there.
Zoom Rooms will be found by the desktop client by searching for them locally. There will be no sharing keys detected if none are displayed on the Zoom Room display, so you must enter the Sharing key.
Note: Using the desktop client to start your video will end companion mode if you start it from there.
How to join a meeting using the mobile app in a Zoom Room

Open the Zoom mobile app on your mobile device and sign in.

Select the Meetings tab from the menu.

You need to find the meeting and select it.

You can join a room by tapping the Join from Room button.
It is possible to search for Zoom Rooms in your area using the mobile app. Enter your Sharing key if none are detected on the display of Zoom Room if any are detected.
