    You will be prompted by a pop-up window on your web browser to download the application or open it for use.

  3. Click Cancel in the pop-up window that appears.

  4. At the bottom of the page, you will find a link that will allow you to join.
    In the next few seconds, a new page will be displayed for you.

  5. Please click on the Allow Zoom permissions button in order to give Zoom access to your microphone and camera.

  6. To join the meeting, you need to enter the name that you would like to use.

  7. (Optional) You can select the box stating that I would like my name to be remembered for future meetings.

  8. You can stop the video by clicking the Stop Video button in the video preview window.

Rename yourself during a meeting

The display name of you can be changed while in a meeting, so you can use a different display name than the one you had when you joined the meeting.

Note: Participants must be allowed to change their display names while in the meeting by the host, if they wish to be able to change their display names while meeting.

 If you wish to change the name displayed on your profile:

  1. Click on the Participants button in the meeting control panel.

  2. Click the More button to the right of your name after hovering over it.

  3. Rename the file by clicking the Rename button.

  4. If you want to change your display name, you will need to enter it in the dialog box.
