Joining a Zoom meeting without an account
In order to participate in Zoom meetings as a participant, you do not need an account with Zoom. Whenever you are invited to attend a meeting by someone else, you do not need to create or sign in to an account in order to attend. You can, however, create and host your own Zoom virtual meetings with a Zoom account, invite others to join your virtual meeting, and update your personal settings in order to ensure that you get the most out of your Zoom virtual meeting.

There are nine, ten, or eleven digit numbers assigned to each Zoom meeting that are collectively referred to as meeting IDs, which can be used to access Zoom meetings It is the responsibility of the host of the meeting to disable any authentication profiles, or to set up authentication exceptions in order to let guests attend the meeting Only authenticated users are allowed to join meetings from the web client if the host of the meeting has this set to disabled The host must have enabled Show a “Join from your browser” link if you wish to join directly from your browser without having to download Zoom The easiest way to join a meeting as a guest is to click the link that the host has provided you with or to enter the meeting ID and passcode directly into Zoom. There are many ways to join a meeting, but the easiest is to click the link that was sent to you by the host. If you have received a meeting invite link from the host, such as in your email or in the calendar invite you received, please click the link. Click the Cancel button at the bottom of the pop-up window. The join from your browser link is located at the bottom of the page. To allow Zoom permission to access your microphone and camera, please click Allow in the popup window that appears in the top-left corner of your screen. You will need to enter a display name in the Your Name field. Choose the check box to keep my name in mind for future meetings if you wish (optional). Please click the Join button. You can join by visiting zoom.us/join in your web browser. There is an ID provided by the meeting host/organizer that must be entered. Click on the Join button. Choose one of the following options: If your device already has the Zoom client downloaded, you can start the meeting by launching the Zoom client on your device. You can cancel the pop-up window by clicking Cancel, or you can download Zoom before joining the meeting by clicking Download Now. When you see the pop-up window, click Cancel. When the next window appears, click Join from Your Browser. This will allow you to join the meeting without needing to download Zoom first. Zoom will ask you if you would like its microphone and camera to be used. Click on the Join button after you have entered a display name for your account. Choose the check box to keep my name in mind for future meetings if you wish (optional). Please enter the meeting passcode if prompted before clicking Join. If prompted again, please enter it.
