Joining meeting audio by phone (call me) in zoom App

You can join audio over the phone while in a meeting or webinar by calling yourself (also known as “call me”). Or you can call into the meeting manually.

Notes:

• If you call more than 15 minutes in advance of a meeting, you will not be able to reach me.
• When a meeting is scheduled with “No Fixed Time,” “Call me” will not work.

How to join a meeting or webinar by phone

• You have a Pro or higher hosting account
• with the Audio Plan add-on
• configured for your account, group, or user
• Your meeting or webinar role should be able to use call-out to invite others or join audio by phone.

Note:

Ensure your phone service does not block the call-out numbers. Zoom will always use +1-646-568-7788 for US numbers. Zoom’s web portal will display international calling numbers in ascending order. If the first number is not available, the next number on the list is used. Zoom will use +1-646-568-7788 when none of the numbers for the respect country are available.

What is the most convenient way to join a meeting or webinar by phone?

Windows | macOS

You can join any meeting from your own phone device by dialing your own number.

1. Connect to the Zoom desktop client.
2. Host or join a meeting.
3. Click Join Audio if you haven’t already joined the meeting via audio..
   If you have already joined using computer audio, click Switch to Phone Audio..
4. Select the Call Me tab.
5. Choose the country code of your phone number from the drop-down menu.
6. Click the call button after you have entered your phone number..
   Note:
7.  Dial a hyphen “-” after the phone number and enter the extension if the number includes an extension. If you dial 6032331333-156, you will reach extension 156.

Android | iOS

1.  Download the Zoom mobile app.
2. Host or join a meeting.
3. Join audio if you haven’t already done so.
   Click More then Disconnect Audio if you have already joined the meeting using computer audio.
4. Click Join Audio then Dial in.
5. To display dial-in numbers for another country or region, use the drop-down menu at the top.
6. To call a number, simply tap it.
