Microsoft Teams allows you to make and receive calls, review voicemails, and configure your call settings.

Make a call

  1. Select Calls from the Teams menu.
  2. Choose Call when you’re ready to enter a name or number.

Review and filter your calls

Review your call history using History. Alternatively, you can sort calls using the following options:

  • Outgoing
  • Incoming
  • Missed
  • Voicemail

It is also possible to search and filter your History by name or number to find out when a call was made.

Play a voicemail

  1. You can listen to a voicemail by selecting Play.
  2. If a transcript is available, you can read it in the Details pane.

Manage your speed dial group

You can quickly dial numbers by using speed dial groups.

  1. You can add contacts to this group by selecting the three dots (…).
  2. You can add someone by typing their name, selecting their name, and clicking Add.
  3. Start an audio or video call by hovering over the speed dial card of a contact.

Manage call notifications

  • Managing your call notifications is easier if you belong to a call group.
  • Changing your call forwarding is as simple as selecting the Forwarding menu, selecting an option, or selecting More Settings.
  • The Audio Devices menu, options, or Device settings can be used to manage your audio devices.

How to View Your Call History in Microsoft Teams
  1. On the App bar, click the Calls button.
  2. The History pane will appear. Click it.
