Cisco-initiated automatic site linking for Webex sites
The Webex Meeting Management system is currently being linked with Control Hub to ensure the smooth running of all Webex meetings. Based on the following, the meeting sites can be linked to one or more of the existing Control Hub organizations:
-
Organization name.
-
Organization ID.
-
Administrators’ email addresses.
-
Verified domains.
In case the meeting sites cannot be linked to an existing organization in Control Hub, we create a new organization.
Using Site Administration, you can check in the Site Information section that Cisco Webex Control Hub: Enrolled has been linked to your Webex meetings site and you can see if it has already been done so.
The Webex Meetings sites and the Webex Site Administration sites can still be accessed after site linking has been completed. In addition to signing in to Control Hub using your Site Administration credentials, you can also do so at https://admin.webex.com.
User linking
-
A user is linked to the Control Hub if he or she is active and verified.
-
Site Administrator does not automatically sync changes made to user accounts in Control Hub when you make changes in Site Administration. Site Administration as well as Control Hub must be updated in order to make changes to user accounts.
-
There is a requirement that users add their email addresses to Control Hub before they are able to connect to it, and they must verify their email addresses before they can be connected during the 48 hour period following site linking.
-
The preferred Webex site for a user who has access to more than one linked Webex site will be the first of the linked Webex sites that was linked to Control Hub, if the user has access to more than one linked Webex site. In order to change the preferred Webex site for users, an administrator can use a CSV file that contains the CSV file.
User licenses
