Locking the meeting/webinar topic or description in zoom app
Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinars can be forced as the topic of all meetings and webinars by account owners and admins. Alternatively, you can prevent users from adding descriptions to meetings or webinars.
Meetings and webinars can benefit from this feature when sensitive information isn’t entered in topics or descriptions.
Prerequisites for locking the meeting/webinar topic or description

How to lock the meeting or webinar topic or description
Account
Note: Account-level locking is the only way to lock description fields in meetings or webinars.

Admins can edit account settings by logging into the Zoom web portal as admins.

Account Settings can be found under Account Management in the navigation menu.

Go to the Meeting tab.

Activate or deactivate the following toggles under Schedule a Meeting:

The meeting topic should always be “Zoom Meetings”

Description of the meeting has been hidden

The webinar topic should always be “Zoom Webinars”

Description of webinar hidden

Verify the change by clicking Enable or Disable on a verification dialog.

Click Save, then click Continue, if you would like to select the following checkboxes.

A meeting that has already been scheduled should have its description hidden

Descriptions of already scheduled webinars should be hidden

By clicking the lock icon, and then clicking Lock to confirm the setting, you can prevent all users in your account from changing them.
Group

Create a Zoom account as an admin with group edit privileges.

Go to User Management and then Groups from the navigation menu.

From the list, select the appropriate group name.

Choose Meeting from the menu.

You can enable or disable the following toggles under Schedule a Meeting.

Meeting topics should always be displayed as “Zoom Meetings”

The webinar topic should always be “Zoom Webinars”

Verify the change by clicking Enable or Disable if a verification dialog appears.
Note: A grayed-out option indicates the account level has locked it and it needs to be changed. -
By clicking the lock icon and then clicking Lock, all users in your group can’t change these settings.
