You can dial a number from the Favorites, Recents, or Directory list, depending on which one you choose. You might also type their number into the Search or Dial area, respectively.

When searching a directory, you will receive no more than 100 results.

Call from your directory

1 Start by tapping the Call icon on the home screen.

2 Select either Favorites, Recents, or Directory from the drop-down menu.

3 Tap the Call button when you have chosen a contact to call.

Edit and call a recent contact

1 Select Call from the menu on the home screen.

2 To open a contact card for a contact, tap Recents and then choose an entry from the list.

3 Tap the More button, followed by Edit, and then dial. A virtual keyboard appears, and you are able to make adjustments with it.

4 After you are through making changes, the call may be made by selecting the Call button located on the keyboard.

Call by name, number, or video address

1 Start by tapping the Call icon on the home screen.

2 Begin typing the name of your contact, their phone number, or their video address into the space designated for searches. In order to start or attend a meeting that has been prescheduled, you may also enter a video address. To place the call, first press the arrow button, then tap the Call button.

If Webex Calling is enabled

You will be able to make calls to mobile phones and landlines if the Webex Calling feature is enabled on the device you are using. In such event, the telephone numbers of your contacts will be shown in your directory, where you will be able to pick them out and dial them. This includes both your current and favorite contacts.

If you choose to contact someone by dialing their phone number, while you are talking to that person you will have access throughout the conversation to certain extra buttons that enable you do the following:

  • Put the call on hold, and then pick it up where you left off.
  • Please put through the call.
  • You may start a conference call by inviting attendees.
  • Voicemails can be sent and received.
