Make and Answer Calls on the Cisco Headset 730 in webex
The left ear cup on the Cisco Headset 730 provides you with quick access to answering, rejecting, muting, holding, and ending calls.
Answer a call
A call button can be found on the left ear cup’s face, just below the volume controls.
In order to answer a call, you need to press the Call button once.
End a call
On your headset, you will find a Call button that allows you to end the call. Whenever you end a call with your headset, a tone will be played. It is located on the left side of the ear cup, close to the call button.
The Call button should be pressed and held for two seconds, then released.
It is also possible to end calls with Cisco Headset 730 firmware version 1-8 or later if you place the headset on the charging stand when it is not in use. This feature can be enabled through the Cisco Headsets app that is available on your mobile device.
Reject an incoming call
A call button can be found on the left ear cup’s face, just below the volume controls.
In order to reject an incoming call, you will need to press the Call button twice.
Hold a call
A call button can be found on the left ear cup’s face, just below the volume controls.
If you want to put an active call on hold, you need to press the Call button once.
Mute your headset
Right above the left ear cup, you will find a button that can be used to mute the audio.
- On an active call, you can turn off your microphone by pressing the Mute button once.
- You can turn on your microphone again by pressing the Mute button once again.
Silence incoming call notifications
Using the volume controls on your Cisco Headset 730, you are able to silence incoming call notifications.
The right ear cup needs to be pressed.
