Make Basic Calls on Your DECT Handset in webex

Learn how to use your DECT handset to make basic calls.

Make Calls

If you have a regular phone handset, it will work just like the one you have. However, we make the process of making calls as simple as possible for you.

Make a Call

1. The number can be entered using the keypad when the handset is idle. It is necessary to hold the Asterisk until a + appears on the screen in order to start the number with a plus (+).
2. You can answer/send your question by pressing the button.

Make a Call on a Different Line

It is possible that your handset has more than one line. The first line of your handset is selected by default when it is turned on. The second line, however, is capable of making phone calls.

1. The number can be entered using the keypad when the handset is idle. It is necessary to hold the Asterisk until a + appears on the screen in order to start the number with a plus (+).
2. There is a press line.
3. Press the Select button after you have highlighted the line.

Make a Call with the Speakerphone

1. The number can be entered using the keypad when the handset is idle. It is necessary to hold the Asterisk until a + appears on the screen in order to start the number with a plus (+).
2. Please press the speakerphone button.

Make a Call with a Headset

1. The headset port on your handset can be accessed by removing the covering on the headset port and plugging in the headset.
2. With the help of the keypad, enter the telephone number. You can start the number with a plus (+) by pressing and holding Asterisk until you see the + appear on the screen and the number starts with +.
3. You can answer/send your question by pressing the button.
