Manage application services for a Webex Calling User-Webex
You are able to determine the ringing behavior of calls that are made to users in certain instances, such as when a Click to Dial call is made, while getting group pages, or when a parked call is recalled back to the user’s line. This is possible because application services give you this ability.
1. You can edit a user by going to the customer view at https://admin.webex.com, selecting Users, and then selecting the user you wish to edit.
2. Navigate to Calling > User Call Experience > Application line Assignments in the navigation menu.
3. Select the appropriate ringtone for the following situations in the “Ring settings” section of the user’s device:
- Notifies the user of any incoming click-to-dial calls made through the Webex Calling application.
- Notifies the user whenever the Webex Calling application receives a group paging call. Group Pages have been received.
- Notifies the user when a call is parked on their line. This occurs when a call is received and held for the user.
4. In the section labeled “Webex application assignments,” select the user’s available devices that are authorized to utilize the Webex Calling application.
Unless the user has the calling license granted to them, they will not be able to use the Webex Calling application on these devices.
