Manage Polls in Webex Events (Classic)
You can use a poll to generate and disseminate questionnaires if you are hosting an event or participating in a panel. Conducting feedback and opinion surveys, as well as votes, can be beneficially accomplished through the usage of polls.
Create a Questionnaire Overview
To run a poll, you must first build a poll questionnaire. You can produce poll questionnaires by employing any one of the following methods:
- This standalone version of the Webex Poll Questionnaire Editor enables you to write poll questions outside of an event, save them, and then open them while you are participating in an event.
Go to the Downloads page on your Webex Events site by selecting Webex Events (traditional) Support > Downloads from the left menu bar of your Webex Events site. From there, you can download the Editor. Expand the Webex Poll Questionnaire Editor, then choose Download from the menu that appears.
- The polling panel that is contained within an event gives you the ability to create, save, and open poll questions while you are participating in an event.
Simply navigate to View > Panels > Manage Panels in order to add the polling panel. Choose Polling from the available panels on the Manage Panels screen, then click Add after making your selection. After that, select the OK button.
You can start an event earlier than the time it is supposed to begin, construct questionnaires using the Polling panel, save them, and then open them during the real event. This will allow you to save time during the event.

1 From the list of Panelists on the Participants panel, right-click the name of the panelist that you wish to designate as the polling coordinator. This will allow you to designate them as the polling coordinator. Choose Change Role To > Polling Coordinator from the drop-down menu.
