Manage Scheduling Templates for Cisco Webex Events in Cisco Webex Control Hub
In order to be able to schedule Webex events with the exact same settings each time, site administrators can use scheduling templates for Webex Events.
Scheduling Templates for Webex Events
Several of the settings that define the setup of a scheduled event are defined in a scheduling template. In order to make a website administrator’s job easier, he or she can create a template that can be used by hosts who often use the same settings for their events. It is possible for the host to select a template when scheduling events to avoid having to set many of the same options for each event he/she hosts.
Scheduling templates can be divided into two types:
-
Standard scheduling templates: This feature is available to all hosts. Website administrators can also make personal templates made by hosts available as standard templates as part of a Webex service, which includes a set of standard templates.
-
Personal scheduling templates: Hosts can set up their own templates which will only be accessible to hosts who have set them up. By using the Save As Template option in the event scheduler, hosts can create a personal template directly from within the event scheduler itself. A host has the option to save the template as a standard template in the process of saving a template, by selecting Save as Standard Template when registering a template to save. A list of the standard templates will then appear containing the template that you have selected.
Once you have saved the template, you can only see the host images that you previously uploaded. The meeting materials and the description of the image that were uploaded to the template are all deleted along with all the other files.
Administrators of Webex sites have access to the following standard templates for Webex Events:
-
The host can show or hide any of the standard templates, including those that have been created and saved as standard templates by the host.
-
Default Webex Events templates can be made up of any standard template.
-
Webex sites have standard templates that can be deleted.
