Managing custom filters in zoom App
Overview
Upload your company’s pride and branding as custom video filters to make your video meetings more exciting. Owners and administrators of accounts can upload custom frames and foreground stickers for their users to use through the custom filters feature.
Zoom desktop clients and Zoom mobile apps allow users to select these filters.

Prerequisites
- Zoom desktop client
- Windows: 5.7.0 or higher
- macOS: 5.7.0 or higher
- Linux: 5.7.0 or higher
- Zoom mobile app
- Android: 5.7.0 or higher
- iOS: 5.7.0 or higher
- Video filters enabled
- Image requirements
- Custom-made image
- PNG or JPG
- Up to 1 MB in size
- Free-with-credit-card account or higher.
Adding a custom filter
- Admins with the privilege to edit account settings should sign into the Zoom web portal.
- Click Account Management and then Account Settings in the navigation panel.
- Select Meetings.
- Select the Video filters setting under In Meeting (Advanced), then click Add Custom Filter.
- Among the options presented to you in the Add Custom Filter dialog box is:
- Select an image from your computer and drop it into the space provided.
- Choose the file from your computer and click Open.
- Edit the appearance of the filter for users on Zoom’s desktop client using the Edit custom filter dialog.
- Select the image and drag it to the desired position.
- Resize an image by selecting and dragging the corners.
- Remove an image by clicking ✖ in the top-right corner of the image.
- Click the image icon in the lower-right corner to add up to two additional images to the filter.
- Click Next to customize how the filter will appear for users on the Zoom mobile app.
- Click Next.
- Enter a name for the filter.
- Choose a thumbnail image which will appear in your user’s selection of video filters.
- Click Save.
Editing a custom filter
- Log into the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the ability to edit account settings.
- Navigate to Account Management and click Account Settings.
- Select Meetings.
- Locate the Video filters setting under In Meeting (Advanced) and select the one you want to edit.
- Click the Edit link in the lower right corner.
A dialogue box will appear where you can edit the custom filter. - Users of the Zoom desktop client as well as users of the Zoom mobile app can customize the filter based on their preferences.
- Simply click Save.
Deleting a custom filter
- Become a Zoom admin with the privilege of editing account settings by logging into the Zoom portal.
- Choose Account Management then Account Settings from the navigation panel.
- Select Meetings.
- Locate the Video filters setting under In Meeting (Advanced) and select the filter you want to delete.
- To delete that filter, click its lower-left corner.
- To confirm deleting the filter, click Delete in the verification dialog.
Devices will no longer have the filter.
Viewing custom filter properties
You can view filters’ properties, such as Date Added and Size, and search through all of your custom filters.
- As an admin, access the Zoom web portal and edit the account settings.
- Select Account Management then Account Settings from the navigation panel.
- Select Meeting.
- To manage your custom filters, locate the Video filters setting under In Meeting (Advanced).
- Click the list view icon near the top-right corner to display properties.
