Managing OnZoom recordings for Hosts
With OnZoom ticket registration, you can offer free access to your event’s cloud recording. This allows registrants to view the event they registered for at their convenience, even if they weren’t present. You can offer this as an additional benefit with your ticket registration.
Registration for an event that includes free access to recordings will:
- Once the event begins, the recording will begin automatically. If you or an Alternative Host forget to start recording, the event is still recorded.
Note: - It will be required for you to start recording an event manually in the case of events that do not include access to event recordings as part of the ticketing process.
- All registrants, both those who missed the event and those who attended the event, should be given free access to view the recording for a period of 7 days after the recording is made available.
Note:
Zoom’s web client does not allow you to download, edit, delete, or share recordings.
Upon completion of the event, the recording will be automatically posted, eliminating the need for you to manually upload it.
